Impact Awareness

Know exactly which Flows, Apex triggers, and validation rules will break — before you rename a field, deprecate an object, or start a migration.

Step 1

Save the Bookmarklet

Free on-screen summary  ·  Full XLSX report — $149

To connect: open Salesforce, stay on the Salesforce tab, and click this saved bookmarklet from your bookmarks bar.

Lightning users: if a page listing API versions opens, click the bookmarklet again from that tab. That second click completes the connection. Classic and Setup users connect on the first click.

Sessions expire after about 2 hours. To reconnect, go back to Salesforce and click the bookmarklet again.

Step-by-step instructions
1

SAVE THE BOOKMARKLET ONCE

Drag “Connect to Automation Inventory” into your browser’s bookmarks bar.

This creates a browser bookmark. Nothing is installed in Salesforce, and nothing is downloaded to your computer.

If your bookmarks bar is hidden — Windows: Ctrl+Shift+B  ·  Mac: Cmd+Shift+B

2

OPEN SALESFORCE

Go to your Salesforce org in another browser tab.

You must already be logged into Salesforce before using the bookmarklet. Stay on the Salesforce tab before clicking.

3

CLICK THE BOOKMARKLET FROM SALESFORCE

While you are on a Salesforce page, click “Connect to Automation Inventory” from your bookmarks bar.

If you are on a Setup, Classic, or API page, KeelCadence may connect immediately. If you are on a Lightning page, Salesforce will usually open a new XML/API page — that is expected.

4

IF THE XML/API PAGE OPENS, CLICK IT AGAIN

Stay on the XML/API page. Click the same “Connect to Automation Inventory” bookmarklet again from your bookmarks bar.

This second click completes the connection and sends you to the audit setup page.

RETURNING USERS

If you already saved the bookmarklet, you can start directly from Salesforce. You do not need to come back to this page first.

If your session expires, go back to Salesforce and click the bookmarklet again.

RUN #12 · COMPLETE

IMPACT ANALYSIS COMPLETE.

12Automations Affected
4HIGH Impact
5MEDIUM Impact
3LOW Impact
HIGH

4 automations will error or misfire immediately

2 flows and 1 trigger read Annual_Revenue__c in entry conditions or required logic. 1 validation rule formula directly references the field. All 4 will break immediately after rename without throwing a visible error.

MEDIUM

5 automations will evaluate to blank silently

Cross-object references and formula fields that read Annual_Revenue__c via lookup will return 0 or blank after rename — no error is raised, making these particularly difficult to detect post-change.

LOW

3 automations have minor or cosmetic exposure

A screen flow display field, a formula tier classification, and an approval process entry criterion reference the field in ways that degrade gracefully but should still be updated for accuracy.
